          In this project I worked with Seda Gültekin. We evaluated a website which is about learning English for children. We used a checklist in order to evaluate the website. We gave information about the design, purpose and context of the website. It is a very useful and enjoyable website. We also enjoyed when we looked over the site. We thougtht that we can use such websites so as to be effective in the lesson.

My Website Project

Morgan Freeman was interviewed in this program but I really do not know who the interviewer was. Topic was how Mr. Freeman's early theatre training helped to perfect that voice. Firstly the interviewer gave short information about Mr. Freeman’s some films for example, The Dark Knight, Gone Baby Gone and The Shawshank Redemption (the best known) and asked whether or not theatre gave him vocal advantages. He agreed this idea because he said that in theatre there is an education, training, voice development just being able to speak. Some movie actors can do this. 

The interviewer gave some parts of his speech from his films that are impressive effects on the listeners. He has perfect voice.  After then the interviewer asked a question again when he was starting a film, is there a way approaching it. His answer was “no, just read it,Subconsciously may be doing something rather than just reading.” 

 If I were the interviewer, I would like to ask these questions:

- How does he feel having such an impressive voice?

- What is the biggest affect of his voice in his own career?

 In this project, I really had difficulty while I was listening the interview because their speeches were so fast that I could not understand all of the speech. I listened it again and again but I could not fully understand it. So I could not do it properly but I tried to tell what I understand and explain as much as I did. I can say that this was the most difficult project for me I had ever done.

The Webquest Project

The Lion and The Mice

This is our webquest project. Seda, Havva and I wrote a fable of The Lion & Mice. We used to webquest and created the fable according to directions. We read the fable that was in the webquest and then we began to creat our fable.It was enjoyable for us.I liked this project, and i think it may be beneficial for young learners. It can attract their attentions. It is a creative project. :)

One Specific Word

        I choose this word because everybody asked me how you can achieve being quiet and calm even we are in a debate. Actually, i did not do it consciously because when i was a child, i generally preferred to be silent rather than speaking. It was like a habit for me so that i had no difficulty while i was sitting without speaking.  Recently  it is changed a bit, but still its influence is going on...I can sit down just looking around without speaking for hours . Silence is more peaceful for me except special days.. ;)
